On Thursday 4th October, took place in Funchal, Madeira, hosted by Escola Dr. Horacio Bento de Gouveia, the first multiplier event of Ethicsboard, one of the most important projects supported by European Projects Association asbl.
Innovation in teaching, collaboration among schools and local entities, global opportunity platforms for young people were the main issues of the Seminar.
During the event, Frédéric Fabre, Secretary General of the European Projects Association Asbl presented our project “Talented Europe“ to teachers, pupils and local stakeholders. Frédéric focused his speech on several key points:
First of all, he explained the current situation about labour market, highlighting the problems and the importance of reducing Youth Unemployment.
Secondly, he described the Talented Europe Project, talking about the objectives, the strategies and the current Network – composed by more than 320 students, 116 companies and 65 educational institutions.
Finally, he analyzed the investments allocated to the Youth Employment Initiative from Europe through the European Social Fund at a regional level.
The main objectives of this speech were the followings:
- To develop and disseminate our project to the main stakeholders, namely professors and regional authorities.
- To create a synergy and cooperation between these two innovative projects : Talented Europe and Ethicsboard.
- To make pupils aware of the possibilities and the benefits that Talented Europe offers through the Erasmus+ program.
