On April 6, 2017 was organised in Santa Cruz de Tenerife Talented Europe multiplier event that was aimed at disseminating and publicizing the project ‘Erasmus+ 2015-1-ES01-KA203-016176’ and also to share the intellectual outputs of the project with a wider audience was. The Multiplier event dubbed ‘Talented Europe Tenerife’ was hosted and organised by CIFP Cesar Manrique and IES Puerto de la Cruz at the Auditorium of Tenerife “Adan Martin”. All the partners involved into the said project were attending this event. We are here talking about: European Projects Association – EPA, IES Puerto de la Cruz, Technical University of Košice and the University of Bedfordshire.
The Director General of Vocational Training, Manuel Jorge Pérez was the main guest of this event. The other speakers were representatives from some vocational training centers, major companies in the Canary Islands, as well as university and vocational training students. Also, we have been honoured to welcome students, universities’ representants, companies’ HR representatives, talents hunters and so on…
The event started with a presentation on the Talented Europe project which is as you know a project with a multiplatform application, an online/onphone ‘app’ which will make the business of matching top students to job and internship opportunities across Europe. Followed by Mara Esteban (Director of GEN- Generado Talento), who spoke on the subject, ‘Your ability to learn, your best talent’. Another important fact of the event was the networking activity during the coffee breaks which provided the great opportunity to our diversified pool of participants to get to know each other and enjoy the maximum of what this event had to offer in term of contact.
José Manuel Rodríguez Macías (Director of ATOS Canarias) and Coqui García (Business Director INtech Tenerife) also made splendid contributions during their talk sessions.
Participants also had some try-on-hands experience during the ‘’Talented Europe hands on experience’ workshop session. Enrique Borrell, (Professor of FOL and Mentor Coach NLP), closed the curtains on presentations with the topic, ‘If you change, everything changes’.
